Stone Harbor

Stone Harbor, NJ is a located in Cape May County and is part of the Seven Mile Island just south of neighboring Avalon. In 1891, the first building was constructed in Stone Harbor and consisted of an Inn along with seven cottages on 80th Street. The eight buildings formed the original Stone Harbor Resort, which was acquired by Seven Mile Beach Company in 1907. In 1914 the town was incorporated as a borough. Stone Harbor’s motto is “The Seashore At Its Best,” and is evident throughout  the town with its boutique shopping, white sandy beaches, small town charm, and exceptional restaurants.
